Mountain Walking Festival
q

1st and 2nd of May 2010

The 2010 Walking Festival was another great success and we would like to thank all the landowners for giving us permission to use their land for the weekend.

Check out images of the 2010 Festival here.

The Ceili on the Sunday was a huge success and the Leenane/Maam Red Cross would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed on the night, raising 520 euros which will put 10 months of diesel into the ambulance.

Enjoy a unique combination of mountain and sea as Leenane is situated on the edge of Killary Harbour and surrounded by mountains in all directions.  We gratefully acknowledge the assistance in this project from the local landowners, without whom this would not be possible.
